Mission Statement

     My entire life has been for music.    First as a student.  Then as an amature.  Then as a professional.   Then as a teacher.   Passing on the information of my 50 years of experience is important to me.    I have found teaching to be the most gratifying part of being a musician.  I still perform and record but teaching is my contribution to music.

    We need more bass players.  Music is the best thing in life.  Bass players lay down the foundation of a song and are the tie between drums and guitar.  The bass can play notes the guitar can not.

    My method will show you how to play most styles of popular music.  Lessons cover theory,  how to read music and tablature (tab),  how to learn songs,  and performance.   The student is encouraged to ask questions.
